AssistRx Training Specialist - Systems in Overland Park, Kansas
The purpose of the Training Specialist is to support function managers in development and delivering training events and providing training tools that develop skills, knowledge and expertise in their organizations. The Training Specialist is responsible for the delivery of specific product and application training programs that change behavior and produce results.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities and Percentage of Time
Works with internal customers to define training solutions that meet the needs identified by conducting needs assessment and collecting utilization requirements
Designs and delivers system training curriculum and materials. Conducts training classes by presenting job-specific software applications. Creates agenda, builds tactics, organizes speakers and handles logistics for program design and delivery
Evaluates system training and materials. Refines training and materials based on collected evaluations
Coaches, teaches and trains associates during training events. Assists manager in ongoing development by providing written and verbal feedback
Stays current with training principles and technology by attending professional meetings and trainer development events

Travel Requirements: Approximately 10-15%
Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree
Education Preferred: Master’s
Experience Required: 2-3 years pharmaceutical or healthcare, instructor led training experience
Experience Preferred: Working knowledge of system applications essential to the role; (MS Office, Keynote, Siebel, salesforce.com)
Functional Knowledge: Implement ADDIE model, adult learning principles
